The Vermont Software Developers' Alliance held its first official meeting on Wednesday, September 29, 2004. At the meeting, the steering committee presented the results of its 3 months of planning, including survey results, the Alliance's mission statement, and its initial goals.
Feedback from the attendees was very positive -- over 35 companies are signing up to become members of the organization. These new members all see the great value that can be realized by bringing together software developers from throughout Vermont, creating joint contracts, trading customer contacts, and gathering new sales leads.
