Gordon is engaged in intellectual property private practice here in Vermont and concentrates his practice in i) domestic and international trademark prosecution, litigation, licensing and counseling, and ii) intellectual property and information technology matters representing start-up, micro and small businesses.
Because of Gordon's computer software and hardware background, Gordon has many clients in the business of developing information systems, hardware and computer software systems. He also represents several leading edge development firms of patented, patent pending and proprietary technology in the fields of semiconductor fabrication, holographic storage and imaging technologies, virtual reality display and tracking systems, micro-measurement devices, computerized analytical instrumentation systems, and internet based businesses. He represents authors, publishers and producers of multi-media works, internet and on-line interactive system developers, networks and client/server application systems and development tools.
As part of his practice, he counsels clients in conventional intellectual property representation in trademark and copyright matters, including significant infringement litigation, worldwide trademark filing and protection programs, domestic and international trademark prosecution, availability determination and trademark office proceedings. He also litigates intellectual property matters representing legal interests of intellectual property owners and defense against infringement claims.
