Dealer.com provides internet marketing solutions to the automotive industry. The solutions include websites, search engine marketing, search engine optimization, and sales performance analytics.
After getting its start from a chance meeting in 1997 at the Earthcars dealership in Williston, Dealer.com has grown to over 120 employees in Burlington, and other staff throughout the country. They recently purchased and are in the midst of remodeling a 62,000 square foot building that will support the company's future growth.
Mike Lane, COO, and Rick Gibbs, CTO, will be telling the company's story and sharing their insights, challenges, and lessons learned while effectively leading their rapidly growing software company.
Bios
Michael Lane serves as the Chief Operations Officer for Dealer.com. Mike has experience in operational development in both consulting and industry for the past decade. Experience in finance, IT, and automotive have enabled Mike to drive success in the development of e-business solutions. Financial discipline and solid business planning are foundations of the success he pursues along with unconventional and creative methods of developing key teams for organizations’ operational success. The end result is highly effective teams that are in line with objectives to support the clients with the best possible service and solutions while achieving or exceeding company objectives.
Rick Gibbs serves as the Chief Technological Officer at Dealer.com. His mission is to shape and uphold the company's technological vision, while perpetuating innovation and spearheading its position in the industry. Prior to joining Dealer.com, Rick created a Web development division for an international consulting firm. Rick received his BS in Computer Engineering from Clarkston University.
