From Interns to Employees
An in depth look at internship programs and how both colleges and employers work together to mold the perfect employees.
This month's panel will be comprised of employers who will discuss their experiences engaging and molding interns who eventually became employees within their organizations.
After the panel discussion, a number of local colleges will outline their internship programs and what types of interns they offer.
The end result will be a healthly conversation about the internship process and how both colleges and employers can take advantage of this invaluable workforce development tool.
We're also happy to welcome Cari Kelley of the Lake Champlain Regional Chamber, who will be addressing the group on the new Internship Job Board they are developing.

Employer Bios
Alex Broussard is Vice President/CTO of EpikOne. He is involved in strategic planning, product development and technology operations. He is particularly interested in technology & marketing integration, predictive analytics, and search analysis.
Alex also teaches Search Engine Optimization at Champlain College - a progressive college rapidly moving into online education and campus enhancements including their new Global Business Center featuring state-of-the-art technology infrastructure.
Dave Winslow is President and co-founder of EpikOne, an Analytics Consultancy focusing on marketing, website and search optimmization. He is responsible for the vision of the company along with growth and client relations.
He teaches Internet Strategy, Web Analytics and Google AdWords courses at Champlain College - a progressive college rapidly moving into online education and campus enhancements including their new Global Business Center featuring state-of-the-art technology infrastructure.
He also serves on the Advisory Board for the colleges Marketing department and BYOBiz program (http://www.champlain.edu/byobiz/).
Additionally he founded and still owns Urban Style Direct (www.urbanstyledirect.com) - an e-tailer that sells urban-inspired fashion globally. The site, urbanstyledirect.com receives over 50,000 visitors monthly and has sold on every continent. He uses this business for a lot of research and am open to business opportunities.
Ted Adler is Founder & President of Union Street Media. USM was founded by Ted in the fall of 1999. Under his leadership, USM has grown to be one of the leading real estate web development companies in the country.
A serial entrepreneur, Ted is involved in just about everything at USM, but spends most of his time on client development, project management and helping expand the company's content management system. Ted is a proud alum of both Middlebury College and Brunswick School in Greenwich, CT.
